Sub-Zero Condenser fan problems
Does your Sub-Zero refrigerator condenser fan seem to be constantly running?
If you search the internet for this issue, you will seem it is quite common. The first thing to check is that the condenser is free of dust.
Sub-Zero recommend vacuuming the condenser every six months, or more if you have pets.

If you have tried this then the problem may be electrical. We have come across this several times. The symptoms are:
- Condenser fan is running all the time, even when the compressors are turned off.
- The condenser itself is clean and free of dust.
- Enter into fridge diagnostic mode and check for error messages
- The most likely error message is 90 3 56. "Condenser triac short"
If the condenser triac has shorted on the board, then it is possible to repair it without buying a replacement board from Sub-Zero.
